On campus and around town, the atmosphere at the summaery weekend from 10 to 13 July 2014 was nothing but exuberant. Students and instructors of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar presented their projects of the past year in exhibitions, performances and events.
Despite the rainy weather, a firework and laser show kicked off the spectacular opening event. As in past years, guests came in droves at nightfall to see the »Summer Night’s Tape« and »Media Reel« at the Audimax and in the courtyard of the University Library. The Faculty of Civil Engineering refused to let the weather rain on their parade and spontaneously moved its 60th anniversary celebration along with the Professor Band and Drum Circle into the Mensa.
