The posters present projects and completed master theses of students of the master course NHRE. The special problems arise from demanding engineering tasks in the fields of planning, construction and realisation of buildings under the influence of earthquakes, wind and floods. By including research and practice as well as site- or structure-specific risk analysis using modern tools to assess the hazards caused by natural hazards, students deal with a wide variety of topics. These include engineering tasks on the effects of earthquakes and extreme wind events, damage forecasts of reinforced concrete frames with masonry infills, displacement based design of structures, topics on special structures such as tunnels and foundations of offshore structures, BIM, investigations of material properties under special conditions, structural optimisation or special mathematical problems.
