The Bauhaus Christmas Market announced for 12 December in the rooms of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar have to be be cancelled due to the current pandemic.

Science Day 2020

Prof. Dr. Julika Griem, Vice President of the DFG, will be our guest at the Science Day 2020 on 18 November. In addition, the Hochschulpreise 2020 will be awarded and current research will be presented in the Early Stage Researchers Competition with Elevator Pitch.

From 30 July to 2 August Bauhaus-Universität Weimar invites you to the annual exhibition »summaery2020 remote«. This year, students and teachers will present their current projects and positions online, but also at exhibition venues in the City.

On 4 June 2020 the »Long Night of Academic Writing« invites students, doctoral candidates, university staff members and anyone interested in writing to be inspired by experts to find a way through the linguistic jungle!

The Career Day on 27 May 2020, organized by Careers Service of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, invites students and alumni as well as company representatives and interested parties: Get in touch with potential employers for internships and more or get to know future employees personally.

POSTPONED: Tag der Lehre 2020

Due to the current developments, the University Directorate has decided to postpone the Tag der Lehre until the coming year 2021. The focus is currently on the plans for the digital summer semester 2020, and the experiences, ideas and new concepts that will emerge from this are to be discussed and reflected on for Tag der Lehre 2021.
