We want to explore the advantages of Open Data. For this purpose, we present models that are designed to help researchers to organize their data properly and to publish them after the completion of a project. These models include 5S-Data for organisation, the 3-2-1 backup rules for backup and the FAIR principles for publication and re-use of research data. We will also discuss the implementation of these models and highlight the support services available. In a concluding discussion session, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss methods.
