Project description
How do you actually do research in cryptography? An insight into this ongoing master's thesis reveals how to analyze security algorithms and rebuild them so that they can also be secure against an attacker with a quantum computer. A positive side effect: the "post-quantum secure" algorithm is even easier to understand than the original one!
In detail: How can the "Authenticated Encryption with Associated Data" scheme OTR designed by Kazuhiko Minematsu be modified to be post-quantum secure?
