Project description

From digital fulldome projection to immersive music theater, from VR to AR, from pragmatic application to wild experimentation, 360 degree surround media has evolved into a professionalized industry that is about to outgrow its status nascendi. The full extent and scope of the paradigm shift from flat, rectangular media devices to spatialized surround experiences in image and sound goes largely unnoticed by the general public, but is capturing the interest of innovative media art peopl and media creators all the more.

The driving force behind immersive media is creativity paired with openness to interdisciplinary and also intercultural approaches to technology, design, performance art and music visualization. "That Spatial Feeling..." reflects the innovative potential of immersive 360-degree art forms and presents current student work.

At the Summaery event program we present one hour audiovisual programs by Bauhaus students of the Immersive Media project „That Spatial Feeling“.
Two Playlists will run concurrently on 3 screens at the Immersive Installation.

Playlist 2 – Documentary and Immersive Moods
