Dear Alumni,

The summer semester kicked off with an encounter-filled Spring Reception in the courtyard of the Main Building. The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Presidium welcomed staff and students on campus. In this issue of contact.bauhaus, we will be sharing updates on refugee assistance at the university, new research projects in science journalism and research digitalisation, the recruitment and development of young academics and what digital twins are all about. With warmest greetings,
