Master project
As part of an interdisciplinary team Project, Alexander Heinrich (Architecture) and Karsten Kleinert (Media Art and Design) have designed a modular exhibition stand that gives the main communicative idea of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar »Experiment.Bauhaus" another visible profile.
The plexiglass construction utilises a special folding technique, which was developed by Alexander Heinrich as part of his master thesis, it is currently patent pending. From this construction, Karsten Kleinert designed a light-interaction concept as part of his Master's thesis.
The main attraction of the exhibition stand are the connected iPads, which inform prospective students about the university and various student projects. The integrated light elements of the stand change colour depending on the selected contents and offer a unique lighting experience.
