How does your research topic potentially change the world and why are you part of the poster competition?
Virtual Reality transforms the way people meet and communicate by letting users immersive themselves in virtual worlds – the recent increase in the availability of head mounted displays such as the Oculus Quest speeds up adoption for use cases in education, entertainment and work. For creative social contexts, suitable 3D User Interfaces must support the users’ need for expressiveness and collaboration. We present the result of our student research project VR creatIVE: a prototype for an interaction toolkit for 3D modelling for remote multi-user VR.
