Fullbright Germany Doctoral Program (in German)

Fulbright Germany offers four- to six-month research scholarships to explore a research topic in depth at US universities or scientific institutions.

Scholarship benefits
» Travel allowance in the amount of 1,400 euros
» Monthly maintenance allowance of 2,400 euros (for a maximum of 6 months)
» monthly lump-sum maintenance allowance for accompanying family members (for a maximum of 6 months): 276 euros for the partner, 400 euros for the first child, 100 euros for each additional child

→ May 1, 2025 for a stay in the USA starting between January 1 - May 31, 2026.
→ November 1, 2025 for a stay in the USA between August 1 - December 31, 2026.

Until April 15th, 2025 all scientists at Thuringian universities have the opportunity to submit their published datasets, provided that they did not already receive the award in any previous FAIRest Dataset competitions. The submitted datasets are evaluated by the members of the Thuringian Competence Network for Research Data Management on the basis of the FAIR principles.
