The Tenure Commission was established on 19 January 2019 by the Senate in consultation with the Presidium. The Commission advises the Presidium on advertising, staffing, employee development, and the evaluation of tenure track professorship positions. It also provides recommendations for sustainable and quality-assured implementation of the tenure track programme, ensuring that it continues to evolve and develop.
The Commission also has the right to appoint a representative to participate in tenure track procedures in an advisory role. The Commission is required to send a representative if requested by the Presidium or the Senate through a corresponding resolution.
