Welt.Raum.Bauhaus | Doing your doctorate internationally at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

Welt.Raum.Bauhaus arises from »IPID4all International Promovieren in Deutschland - for all«, a DAAD funded programme from the BMBF resources. From 2015 to June 2019 a set of measures was implemented by the Bauhaus Research School within the framework of this programme in order to support the internationalisation of doctorates. The most succesful fundings were now continued at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar by the Bauhaus Research School in collaboration with the faculties and central institutions.

Funding

Internationality is an important part of the self-conception of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. It is strongly embeded in the Universities Internationalisation Strategy 2016-2020 as well as in the Agreement of Objectives and Performances of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the Thuringian State Government (sind 31.01.2016) and a central aim of our support of young researchers, artists and designers. Therefor, the Bauhaus Research School will support doctoral candidates by providing grants for research stays abroad, conference and exhibition participations abroad, as well as for publications in foreign languages.
