Energy Saving Measures on Telephones and Printers
Starting November 15, 2022, energy-saving measures will be implemented on telephones and printers at Bauhaus University Weimar. The functionality of the devices will be maintained.
Telephones in the workplace:
The telephone display is automatically turned off when not in use. When any key is pressed or the handset is lifted, the display turns on automatically. After replacing the handset, the display switches off again after a short time.
Printers (multifunction devices):
After 3 hours of inactivity, the devices are automatically shut down and can be restarted via the power button on the control panel (front right, below the display). All affected printers are provided with a notice sign.
