Assertiveness training helps people to recognise, avoid, confront and overcome dangers. Action training focusses on shortening the shock paralysis that people experience in unpleasant situations. They become aware of their own room for manoeuvre, learn to expand it and develop individual ways of defending themselves in threatening situations.
Assertiveness training helps people to recognise, avoid, confront and overcome dangers. Action training focusses on shortening the shock paralysis that people experience in unpleasant situations. They become aware of their own room for manoeuvre, learn to expand it and develop individual ways of defending themselves in threatening situations.
The workshop provides practical tips and ways to set boundaries in unpleasant situations, e.g. on the tram, in public spaces, with family and friends.
Content of the workshop:
Getting to know each other What is violence? What forms of violence are there?
Recognising your own feelings
Use of voice and body language as well as exercises for a confident demeanour
Developing skills to set your own boundaries and accept other people‘s boundaries (saying no, stop signals)
