"The ILLUMAT is a machine that literally fulfils every wish: The illustration machine transforms the wishes and ideas of its audience into images that surprise and make happy. It is a drawing machine that operates in public spaces and interacts with its audience." The Illumat was created in 2007 in a project at the Bauhaus Universität in Weimar. In the meantime, it is on the road as an artists' collective with various independent illustrators* throughout Germany and internationally.
