On Friday, 12 February 2021, the city of Weimar lifted the night-time curfew restriction of 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the entire city area, which has been in effect since mid-December. According to the Thuringian Corona Ordinance on Extraordinary Measures, the health authorities can initiate this if the incidence value in a district-free city falls below 200 for five consecutive days. The city has now made use of this regulation.
