If you want to change your password because it may have been compromised, please proceed as follows:
- Call up the link to the password portal at https://passwort.uni-weimar.de. Use a web browser of your choice (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari).
- When logging in, use your log-in, i.e. your personal user ID with your user name and your previous (= old) password.
- Follow the instructions and reset your password. Please note the applicable password rules that have been implemented in the password portal to prevent the choice of unsafe passwords.
- After a short delay of a few minutes, the new password is valid in all IT systems and IT services that offer central functions.
