Video Hosting Using the Central Vimeo Channel

University Communications has made it possible for you to host videos on the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s central Vimeo account allowing you to integrate them into your website. Clear instructions on how to do this can be found in the Typo3 Tutorials.

Subtitles

By using subtitles, you are allowing everyone to understand the content of the spoken text, even if the environment is particularly loud or particularly quiet. This, of course, also helps those with hearing impairments to understand your videos. In addition, subtitles can be translated into another language, expanding the target group to people who do not speak the original language used.

Audio Description

Audio descriptions of video content is helpful for those with visual impairments. This information is stored as an audio track in the video. Everything that is required for understanding the video is described.
