»Libraries, as places to come together and stick together, support people especially during times when our open, multifaceted and tolerant society's liberal values are in danger. In libraries, as places of living democracy, people may exert their rights to freedom of opinion, political education and social participation. Libraries provide information and enable access to reliable sources. They aid people in recognizing false information, which is now more important than ever.«
