Members of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are able to request articles from the University Library's collection in electronic copies free of charge. The campus delivery service covers scanning (b/w) and providing electronically both journal articles and individual chapters from books. Regulations laid out in the relevant section of copyright law, the Urheberrechts-Wissensgesellschafts-Gesetz (UrhWissG, §60e Abs. 5) apply, i.e. at most 10% of any one item, or single scientific journal articles, can be supplied in this way.
Access to the service is provided primarily in our discovery system BibSearch. Any item's entry will contain a direct request link. After we process your request, you will receive a link to the document along with automatically generated login details by e-mail and be able to access the document in your browser. The document will be available for download for 30 days, after which it will be deleted automatically.
Requests will be processed in order of arrival; however, requests relevant to teaching and research at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar may be given priority.
