This page provides information on the »Academic and project-related management and reporting« responsibilities at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
Academic Management/Internal Management Reporting
Reviews of student, exam, and personal data are compiled for objectives and performance agreements and for the allocation of internal resources. Capacity and teaching workloads are also calculated. The University Strategic Development Office is involved in the preparation, analysis and interpretation of this data.
Project-Related Management
A management system is in place for current plans and projects. The system can be adapted to the constantly evolving requirements and provides financial support for small to university-wide collaborative projects.
External Reporting
The mandatory reporting obligations set by the State (Ministry) are fulfilled by the external reporting system. This includes submitting reports on status of the external target and performance agreement and the future contract as part of the annual report. Data on the university’s national and international ranking is also submitted.
Internal Reporting
The internal reporting system focusses on employees who are involved in decision-making processes in the individual faculties and in the university administration and services. The University Strategic Development Office collects data, analyses it and, based on these analyses, provides expert advice. The data is also used in the annual data report for the faculties and the University Directorate. The report summarises general data and key figures based on student and examination statistics from the individual faculties and degree programmes.
