Quality development at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is made up of a number of different elements. At the university level, the University Strategic Development Office develops and maintains the tools for measuring results and quality information on behalf of the Presidium. The Office also documents tools and processes used at the decentralised level, supporting their development and documenting results. In addition, they provide advice to the Presidium, the Offices of the Deans and other service departments on designing, implementing and assessing the effectiveness of quality development and management processes. The goal is to establish a common understanding of quality in order to improve communication between the various disciplines and between all areas at the university and to continue improving the international, national and regional status of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
