Bauhaus-Universität Weimar has a variety of different elements of quality development. At the university level, Center for Institutional Development develops and maintains instruments for results and quality information on behalf of the Presidential Board. It also documents instruments and processes used at the decentralized level, supports their further development and the consolidation of results. Furthermore, it advises the Presidential Board, the deaneries and the service units on the conception, implementation and effectiveness assessment of quality development and control processes. The goal is a common understanding of quality, which helps to better shape the cooperation between the various subject cultures and all areas of the university, as well as to further improve the international, national and regional positioning of the Bauhaus University Weimar.
