Appointment Officers of the Presidium

Appointment Officers are selected by the Presidium in accordance with § 85 (8) of the Thuringian Higher Education Act (ThürHG) and § 7 of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Appointment Regulations.

The role of Appointment Officers is to provide support for appointment procedures. As advisory members of the Appointment Committee, they are responsible for selecting the most appropriate candidates and ensuring that plans for strategic university development and the criteria set in the calls for applications direct the drafting of appointment proposals.

They assess and provide input on the legality and quality of the process.

They are appointed by the Presidium for a three-year term and are selected from among the university professors at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
