Press Officer (Media Relations Manager)

She is responsible for providing strategic advice, instruction and support for public relations projects involving members and institutions of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She is also responsible for managing the university’s main media and public relations.

The Press Officer

• is the contact person for media enquiries to the university and the Presidium
• directs and facilitates the university’s interdisciplinary communication and cooperation projects
• advises university members on media and public relations issues, corporate communication standards and how to implement them, thus imparting communication skills to university members
• ensures the quality of communications projects and their implementation, especially in the context of media relations, social media channels and the »News« page of the university website
