The Kick-off Meeting of “Pro-GREEN LABs” is taking place at Bauhaus-Uni. This EU-funded project, led by our university, brings together 8 partner universities from Germany, Sweden, Italy, Egypt and Jordan. It aims at promoting green competences in architectural education through experiential, lab-based, active learning.
The lecture series focuses on marginalized perspectives in contemporary art. Artists and curators with a migration background living in Germany will explore the deep impact of colonialism and gender disparity on contemporary art and the artistic and curatorial strategies that oppose them. All sessions will be in English.
The project "Listening to the World - 100 Years of Radio" explores transnational radio histories and listening cultures in a cooperation between the Chair of Experimental Radio at the Bauhaus University Weimar, the Goethe-Institut, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and the House of World Cultures.
