On the occasion of the first Bauhaus exhibition in 1923, not only were numerous murals designed and realized in the Bauhaus buildings, but at the same time the living space was furnished with specially designed objects.
In this context, a unique artistic work was created in the private apartment of the Bauhaus master Adolf Meyer, a holistic interior design, which also included the design of a ceiling lamp. Currently, this ceiling light is being reconstructed as part of an interdisciplinary project work and will be made accessible to a wider public for the first time at the symposium „Verborgenes Bauhaus — Die wiederentdeckten Wandmalereien im Wohnraum des Bauhaus-Meisters Adolf Meyer in Weimar“.
