Those who would like to gain experience abroad themselves can choose from over 200 partner universities worldwide at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The university's language center offers preparatory courses.

4. The Place to be: The university campus is located in the center of Weimar. Surrounded by parks and numerous green spaces, the university buildings, cafeteria, examination or BAföG office, but also numerous cafés and unique design stores are only a few minutes' walk away. There is plenty of time for a round of table football in the M18 student house. Thuringia's largest cities, Jena and Erfurt, are both only 15 minutes away by train.
5. Bauhaus family: In Weimar you are more than a matriculation number. On average, professors supervise only 46 students. In addition, the active student body attracts with numerous initiatives and opportunities for free expression.
The courses of study are limited in admission due to high demand and are assigned in special application procedures (artistic aptitude test, aptitude assessment procedure or examination of application documents).
