Since winter 2011, the Deutschlandstipendium at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar supports excellent students who are expected to or have already produced outstanding work in their studies or professions and are registered at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (in accordance with StipG i. V. m. of StipV).
Funding:
- Scholarship holders receive a financial allowance of 300 euros per month, regardless of their financial support and income.
- The scholarship generally begins in April.
- The scholarship is generally awarded for at least two semesters. As a rule, the scholarship generally runs until the end of the standard period of study at most. Pandemic-related extensions of up to two semesters according to § 6 para. 1 sentence 1 ThürCorHG are taken into account.

The fundraising process for the next funding year is ongoing and will continue until the current selection process in February 2025.
Scholarships 2025/26
January: The application period has ended on 15th of January 2025.
March: As a rule, the awarding committee for scholarships of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will select the scholarship holders in March.
The number of scholarships may be subject to change due to ongoing fundraising.
