Dear Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Alumni,
As the job market dramatically deteriorates due to a shortage of skilled workers, companies in Germany are now, more than ever, facing the challenge of qualified training and, increasingly, in-service training. A solid vocational or academic training is both a prerequisite and an important foundation for a successful start in your professional career. In order to master the challenges of daily practice, however, additional specialised knowledge is often necessary, and this is not always provided during training or studies.
This is precisely where the Bauhaus Further Education Academy comes in. For the last 27 years, we as an institute at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar have been specialising in in-service academic training. Our portfolio includes Master's degree programmes, single-semester certificate programmes as well as one-day or multi-day seminars.
In order to keep the quality of our in-services high, staying in contact with professionals in the industry is essential. Only by »keeping our finger on the pulse« are we able to recognise trending topics and integrate them into our existing programmes or develop new ones. In this context, we are asking you, our valued alumni, for your cooperation together with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Alumni Office.
With your support, we hope to use the following questionnaire to get an idea of the need you might have for in-service training in your field. The aim is to use the information gained from this questionnaire to help us continue to offer vocationally-relevant content in a targeted manner.
On this note, we would be grateful for as many people as possible to participate in this questionnaire. It is made up of just four short questions and should take no longer than five minutes to complete. Your participation is of course anonymous and we do not collect any personal data. Your participation is completely voluntary.
