I retrieve it and plant it into the prepared agar dishes from my first attempt. I stored them upside down in the fridge, as instructed, but wonder if they are still good, because they seem so solid. I add water in different amounts to compare and plant the samples. | I retrieve it and plant it into the prepared agar dishes from my first attempt. Apart from the "Mothersample", which is still in good health, one of the three petri-dishes, the one with the least water added, has remained mold free. For this stage, I have not intervened and tried to remove mold. In that light, it feels like an achievement to have grown an uncontaminated batch. I will cook new medium, to place the original, big sample in and to migrate the healthy physarum in a couple of days. |
