In this collective sound performance, the reuse of waste and broken electronics aims to provoke attention to the impact of technology on our lives and draw attention to consumption patterns and electronic waste. These transformed discarded gadgets, old circuits, or dysfunctional devices were found in the recycling factory near Weimar. By finding new functions and appropriating already existing ones in these materials, the instruments challenge the perception of obsolescence and encourage viewers to rethink their relationship with technology and environmental responsibility, by becoming loud and audible.
