Minimalistische und klar- designte Werbung; Poster die die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Produkte lenken; eine Mischung zwischen Apple Shop und Bioladen.<br><br> Das Erscheinungsbild des ÄppelShops sollte an einen moderneren „Tante Emma Laden“ erinnern. Der moderne Aspekt leitete sich für uns aus dem Einrichtungsstil bekannter „AppleStores“ ab, die wir auf gewisse Art und Weise parodieren wollten. | |||
Da uns sehr schönes, hölzernes Mobiliar zur Verfügung stand, mit dem wir arbeiten konnten und wir fast mütterlich, fürsorglich den Besuchern unseres Ladens Vitamine und Zubehör verkaufen wollten, entstand fast automatisch das gemütliche Flair eines kleinen Konsums. | |||

Katrin Steiger was the inaugural student selected for the new exchange with MICA, The Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Back in Weimar Katrin came up with the M/I/C/A AND ME exhibition to share her work and experiences with other students. She developed all displayed artwork during her | Katrin Steiger was the inaugural student selected for the new exchange with MICA, The Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. There she studied at MICA's Fiber Department for one semester. Back in Weimar Katrin came up with the M/I/C/A AND ME exhibition to share her work and experiences with other students. She developed all displayed artwork during her time abroad, held a lecture for fellow students and answered questions. The exhibition and lecture took place at M10/Hotel Miranda, Marienstr. 10 in Weimar from 4/26 - 4/30/2010. | ||
