| Mozilla – they have a very nice explanations and usecases as they are made for purposes like ours! They got as well a remix platform, where existing webpages can be forked and changed. This is didactically nice as it gives a rather immediate sense of archivement.

| Brackets: Nice local Editor. For the reason of didactics I prefer Mozilla much, but if a local editor is needed/wanted this is possibly the best: It offers instant preview, has a nice autocomplete (for files etc. too!), live checking and is free/open software.
