trigger to selfdiscovery
through an audio mp3 player, a adrulino plays questions.
these questions come out of an speaker.
everytime a person walks past this maschine, the hypersonic sensor gets triggered.
the questions on the mp3 player are played randomly.
playing question component first listeners
questions:
…
wer bin ich?
kommen alle fragen vom friedhof?
ist alles schon da?
wo bin ich wenn ich lache?
was ist dieses bewusstsein in mir?
sollte ich mir glauben?
wann wache ich auf?
bin ich meine gefühle?
was ist diese lebensenergie in mir?
kann ich das wahrgenommende wahrnehmen?
ist mein ziel so weit entfernt?
habe ich alles ausser mich selbst?
war ich jemals wach?
…
playing these questions confronts the person, walking past the machine. through the sound of a bell the intensity of the questions gets inheanced. the bell has the function of an alarm. through the sound of the bell our attention gets pulled inside. to a space we all seem to seek.
… peace? awareness? happiness? satisfaction? englightment? nature? nirvana? tao? zen? …
through unasked confrontation the passing person gets confronted with these existential questions.
the hopeful outcome is selfreflection
