For the final pieces it takes three different steps in constructing. The first is forming a positive out of clay for the shape. Then afterwards a negative plaster mold is made these are very fragile and can be used multiple times. The plaster dries out the Latex that is used for the final form. To have a hollow form the latex needs to be very thinly applied layer by layer. Each laver need to be dry first to archive stability and thickness. This takes patience and a long time.

Making stuff, breaking stuff

For the final pieces it takes three different steps in constructing. The first is forming a positive out of clay for the shape. Then afterwards a negative plaster mold is made these are very fragile and can be used multiple times. The plaster dries out the Latex that is used for the final form. To have a hollow form the latex needs to be very thinly applied layer by layer. Each laver need to be dry first to archive stability and thickness. This takes patience and a long time.
