Wake Up!

" Wake Up!" is a project that make an interaction between the users and sensors. Through the physical touch and shake movement of the doll “tutu”. The user can change the sight view of the sleepy lovely doll.

The views of “tutu” are all based on the concept of kaleidoscope. Basically it has three form of views. One is the live camera view, another is load the movie which was recorded by the user before. The third view is pattern animation.

When “tutu” shows the view of live camera, the computer will automatically record the 30 seconds movie. These movies will be present continuously in the second form of view.

Ideas and Thoughts

The first idea of this project is optical illusion. I try to use triple prism to realize the effects of kaleidoscope.

First Ideas and Thoughts

With the process of the course, I realized that I can use processing to make it works. My project "Wake Up!" want to show the view of a child, which is different from the adult. We are soaking ourselves in Internet, social work, trying to work hard all day long. It’s time to take a rest to see the colorful world, smiling or wicked faces and relax ourselves like a child without sorrow and anxiety.
