Hi!

I'm a digital artist/musician specializing in sound art, installations, and performances. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Integrative Studies at UCSD.

I am interested in the aesthetic possibilities of technological objects and practices, technological production, ownership, and obsolescence.

This boils down to four words: Machines. People. Noise. Trash.

Possibly something that uses the display and or mixing devices to generate content limited by software, i.e. some sort of long distance controlled feedback operation.

Something that uses the limitations of transmission to inform aesthetic values. E.g. - live transmissions of 4X8 pixels mapped out to one pixel per screen on video wall.

I hack things in OSX and sometime Windows even less Linux. I'm familiar with Max/msp, Jitter, arduino, hacking things, breaking things.
