Voice Matter
Phonetic analysis of the speech focusing on a limited number of chosen parameters in voice, e.g. the breath and timbre in the speech, isolating these elements in a way that they can be modified (emphasized or canceled/neutralised etc.).
Idea behind it
Voice transports a vast amount of information in speech we perceive only unconsciously. However, this influences our emotional and rational reaction to the person we listen/talk to. The idea of the project is to focus on some of these parameters in the voice/speech and experiment with them, making us aware of the socio-emotional mechanisms behind the spoken communication.
