The dance sequence will recorded in one take. The take shall have a length of about one minute as well as the video at the end. The captured data will be the base for the motion of the smoke. The final aesthetic will just be the high-res particles of smoke without seeing the human body. The concept of the audio layer is still in progress, but might be interesting to record how someone smokes.

Our idea was to emit smoke from the captured geometry in order to visualize the  dance performance in an artificial way. The smoke interacts physically correct in 3d space as well as with the geometry. As result of that the resonances of the movements become visible without seeing the human body.

Our idea was to emit smoke from the captured geometry in order to visualize the dance performance in an artificial way. The smoke interacts physically correct in 3d space as well as with the geometry. As result of that the resonances of the movements become visible without seeing the human body.
