The dance sequence became recorded in one take. The captured data is the base for the motion of the smoke. The resonances of the dance movements are visible in space through the particles of smoke. The final aesthetic is the high-res particles of smoke without seeing the human body.
Our idea was to emit smoke from the captured geometry in order to visualize the  dance performance in an artificial way. The smoke interacts physically correct in 3d space as well as with the geometry. As result of that the resonances of the movements become visible without seeing the human body.

Our idea was to emit smoke from the captured geometry in order to visualize the dance performance in an artificial way. The smoke interacts physically correct in 3d space as well as with the geometry. As result of that the resonances of the movements become visible without seeing the human body.
