Beschreibung
Description
The interaction of water with geological formations leads to convoluted meandering forms, which have inspired decorative and ritual design practices since primeval times. The labyrinth, meandering around a central point is a cultural Meme that has been copied and reinterpreted for thousands of years, be it as ritual motion, dance or graffitti. In this module we are following the meandering trajectories and learn how to programmatically design curves, meanders and labyrinths. The module culminates in the collaborative design of a meander to be presented on the performance platform.
No programming skills required. This modules teaches basic programming skills which will enable you to visit advanved modules in the future.
Language
The course will be in English, unless all participants are speaking German.
Eligible Participants
Undergraduates and graduates enrolled in the faculties of D, M and A.
