+Results: The time lapse was amazing but it started molding very easily, the glass was probably not a good idea, contamination from outside was coming in. Another test was going to be held, different agar, more oats (following the patter of the most important and violent cities involving drug trade). This time it was sealed with clay.

+Results: Half of the test failed for a piece of paper from the time lapse setting fell into physarum, we decided to keep going but the test did not turn out as expected, Physarum did not touch two of the main oats, cities that are supposed to get drugs from Asia and South America. Another last test was run, different agar, the same amount of oats.

+Results: Physarum created most of the possible connections between the oats and the cities. It worked really well though some of the oats started to get mold. The next step was to replace those oats and clean physarum a little bit. I removed the traces of physarum where it was first put for it looked too white, the idea was to keep the map cleaner.

+Results: Oats in the right side got molded, I don't really know why, some other oats had the intention of getting molded but physarum was stronger.

+Results: Some physarum remained were the oats were and it kept the connections previously made but it mode so beautifully along the map that it even went to the glass. Again the right side, and cities like Merida and Cancún were molded so they were replaced but no more oats will be added to those points.

+Results: The map started to get molded underneath the agar. Physarum remained on the glass looking for more food but it did not find any. Instead it started to grow as if it were spreading around the main cities or where the oats were. This may mean that if drug dealers would start to get attacked, they would stick to the place they know and surround it, being careful enough not to leave the place where they know they can get power from.

+Physarum made so many amazing movements that is hard to analyze them just by looking at the time lapse 3 or 5 times. Every frame and every picture changes completely, it may not be very obvious but physarum moves really fast.
+In general the way physarum moves can be interpreted in so many ways, physarum can represent the drugs trade, the drug dealers, the people running away from the problem or even the violence in specific cities that then spreads all over the country. Many things are involved in this drug trade problem, many countries share a part of it but it is very concentrated in Mexico. It is more a social rather than a numerical problem as a whole, Mexico's government does not help at all, but this is a metaphor of how I imagine this problem that is causing so much death could be ended. In a way is attacking violence with more violence, this is the potential of a revolution.
