One of the key abilities for the filmmaker of today is the actual relevance of his ideas. Before writing a screenplay for a short film you have ot develope an idea. The attitude or position of the scriptwriter to an event /person /System /ideal is most important. The content is driven by its author’s attitude. It can be exaggerated consciously or deliberately denied to achieve the desired effect for the audience. Current political positions and their caricatures or beliefs, as well as social and cultural critique are central to the script development in this course. | |||

Mehr Haltung wagen! - Werkmodul: Drehbuchentwicklung

An den Künstler und Filmemacher von Heute gibt es viele Anforderungen. Eine der wichtigsten ist: „Auf der Höhe der Zeit“ zu sein mit seinem Produkt - dem Film.
Vor dem Schreiben eines Drehbuchs für einen Kurzfilm steht die Entwicklung einer Grundidee, oder eines Filmstoffes. Diese Idee nährt sich aus der Haltung oder Position des Drehbuchautors zu einem Ereignis/Person/System/Ideal. Die Position, die der Autor bezieht ist der Antrieb des Inhalts. Sie kann bewusst übersteigert oder aber gezielt negiert offenbart werden, um den gewünschten Effekt beim Publikum zu erzielen. Aktuelle politische Überzeugungen und deren Zerrbilder sowie gesellschafts- und Kulturkritische Ansätze stehen im Zentrum der Stoffentwicklung.
Mit dieser „Haltung“ im Hinterkopf soll zunächst ein Exposee verfasst werden. Dieses wird im Laufe des Kurses, begleitet von verschiedenen Drehbuchübungen und Ergänzungen, zu einem Treatment und schließlich zu einem Drehbuch ausgearbeitet.
Ziel des Kurses ist das Verfassen eines Drehbuchs für einen Kurzfilm, der im Folgesemester im Rahmen eines Projektmoduls mit Schauspielern besetzt und verfilmt wird.
