Sine waves are the elementary components of sounds. Every sound can be represented by an (infinite) number of sine waves. Here we show that adding up (mixing) sine waves with certain frequencies and gains can reproduce a saw tooth wave.

VCVRack: Modular Software Synthesizer

Sine waves are the elementary components of sounds. Every sound can be represented by an (infinite) number of sine waves. Here we show that adding up (mixing) sine waves with certain frequencies and gains can reproduce a saw tooth wave.
