Electrical properties of Servos used in radio controlled (R/C) toys or robots.

connectors

3 Pins:

  • GND: (black or brown)
  • Supply voltage: differs, but most servos work at 5V (red)
  • Signal: white, orange or yellow

control signal

repeats at 50Hz, 1ms to 2ms High (5V) - remaining time is Low (0V)

sources

cheap sources:
ebay: 2,-€ including shipping from china in lots of 6 or 12 pieces.
conrad: cheapest model at 5,-€
