My web page has publications and software on it. I designed it about the time that photo was taken (1994).
Interests
I try to keep Pd running but also spend lots of time trying to find new and interesting things that can be done between a microphone and a speaker. Whenever I can I try to do this in the context of a musical or artistic production; in the past this has mostly been 'art music' but these days I'm also getting involved in improvised performances, gallery installations, and movie and TV productions.
My collaboration interest
Anything requiring a new approach to analyzing audio and/or video input and/or a new strategy for human/machine interaction toward an artistic goal
Project Idea
Put a contact microphone on something not normally thought of as an audio receptor. Make some sort of patch...
Platforms
Pd, Raspberry Pi and/or linux boxes using 'standard' and/or piezo mics. I'm pretty good at using GEM for video stuff on Intel hardware but don't yet know of a suitable video platform for Pi that can work with Pd.
netsend~ and netreceive~ for inter-machine audio interconnection (but also starting to look at other options such as gstreamer and Michelle Daniels's Streaming Audio Manager).
