The workshop is designed to enable students to develop social computing conceptions in the context of public engagement to enhance the connection of human, information, and environment. Participants of the workshop will explore the relationship between information and the context where it is generated and distributed, so therefore the projects will first have a component of user research, and then conception and implementation of the design. The choice of medium to present the concept depends on the interest and technical background of the participant. Concept video based on a physical prototyping and storytelling is most welcomed. | The workshop is designed to enable students to develop social computing conceptions in the context of public engagement to enhance the connection of human, information, and environment.
