''R&D: Advanced Prototype Research and Development Lab'' is an intensive hands-on workshop supporting the realization of interactive functional prototypes within the context of the Interface Design and MediaArchitecture Project Modules. Candidates will be tasked with transforming mature semester project proposals into real-world proofs-of-concept using contemporary methods and processes for additive/subtractive manufacturing, printed electronics, physical/embedded/pervasive computing, as well as mixed reality and tangible interfaces.

Description

R&D: Advanced Prototype Research and Development Lab is an intensive hands-on workshop supporting the realization of interactive functional prototypes within the context of the Interface Design and MediaArchitecture Project Modules. Evaluation

Successful completion of the course is dependent on regular attendance, active participation, completion of assignments and delivery of a relevant semester prototype. Please refer to the Evaluation Rubric for more details.
