Atempt to cultivate
Plate #1
- 30.10.2019 LB medium cooked by Maxi
- 01.11.2019 e.coli inoculated by Maxi
- 05.11.2019 nematode inoculum by Elliy from the original carolina plate. e.coli doesn't look grown, nematodes remain on the inoculated cube, many of them can be found.
Plate #2
- 04.11.19 e.coli medium by Elliy
- 05.11.19 inoculated by Elliy with a cube of nematodes from the carolina plate
Plate #3
- 04.11.19 e.coli medium; nematode inoculum Miga
- 05.11.19 One nematode on inoculated cube not moving. There is one other nematode on the e.coli medium, it is moving manically.
Plate #4
- 04.11.19 e.coli medium; nematode inoculum Maggy
- 05.11.19 Nematodes don’t like the e.coli medium. They all stayed on the cube most of them are dead but some are still alive. No nematodes founds outside of the inoculated cube.

Atempt to safe for future
C. elegans on plates #1-#11 kept in a fridge for a couple of weeks. Medium doesn't dry out and is kept fresh. Looks pretty much promising
C. elegans on plates #15-#17 kept in a fridge for a day and then in a freezer with minus 20C for 1 week. Plate with lb medium has an old smell. discarded. Other plates have perhaps living nematodes, continue being kept in a fridge.
